Katrina Lithgow is an award winning professional photographer who has exhibited here in the UK including at the Barbican Art Gallery, The National Portrait Gallery and The Photographers Gallery, and internationally both in Europe and USA. She was awarded the John Kobal Portrait award in 1995 and was runner up a couple of years later. She also worked for Vogue, GQ and the Sunday supplements for many years before founding Crear and her work is in permanent collections including the Tate Gallery and V&A Museum in London and the National Galleries of Scotand. Along with her assistants, she offers an informal Crear option.

‘As a portrait photographer, my work has always been about people and making them feel so relaxed that they forget the camera is even there. As I hate being photographed myself, I appreciate how uncomfortable the process can be for many. My pictures are about what is there, using available light to capture the essence of both the wedding couple and the happiness of the day.’
